A brief history of the Challenge Chests™

My Challenges evolved from an Easter egg hunt created for my nephew.  He is very special to me personally and is a special needs child as well.  His diagnoses have included: Asperger's syndrome, bipolar disorder, attention deficit disorder, seizure troubles and other problems.  He is also an only child in a family with many adults. 

For all of us, family gatherings at homes and restaurants create a situation that many normal children would find hard to enjoy.  These challenges help avoid the boredom which can lead to disruption and bad behavior.  The Challenges have kept him busy, entertained, and entertaining to the adults. 

Interaction with adults is often part of a requisite task in one or more of the Challenges.  This adds to the enjoyment of everyone. 

When he sees me with a Challenge his eyes light up and that smile brightens the day. 

His mother has commented that these challenges make our time together more pleasurable for the entire family. 

Product history

After its successful debut at the Mensa Annual Gathering in 2008 I am now offering Challenge Chests™ to you.  Chests can vary with interests and age and grade levels and with special event themes.  The product line is ever increasing and is customizable.
